The predawn raid on Wednesday arrived just after Palestinians barricaded themselves within a mosque there. The violence led on the injuries of a minimum of 37 Palestinians and two Israeli officers and also the arrests of many hundreds of Palestinians, and established off a short exchange of rocket fire from Gaza and retaliatory Israeli airstrikes.
